NIST details research efforts to secure next-generation technologies

NEW YORK -- The National Institute of Standards and Technology is preparing to address cybersecurity of new technology, conducting research and initiatives -- some of which were established under President Trump’s cybersecurity executive order -- on a range of technology from quantum computing to lightweight encryption in connected devices.
