Moody’s identifies ‘very high’ cyber risk in water sector due to digitalization, operational technology

Water and wastewater utilities are increasingly targeted by malicious cyber actors as the use of digital components becomes more widespread and the potential for cyber-physical attacks rises due to insecure operational technology, according to a new Moody's Investors Service report.
