MITRE report suggests incentivizing market for ‘integrators’ to speed U.S. adoption of Open RAN architecture

The use of Open Radio Access Network architecture should be accelerated by the government through establishing research and development grants, utilizing agency resources to spur advancements, and opening up a market for new U.S. entrants, according to a technical paper released by MITRE.
