MITRE’s Powner: New scorecard needed to measure agency progress on beefing up cyber defenses

The success of the FITARA scorecard to measure federal agencies’ IT modernization efforts shows a need to create a separate product for cyber-focused metrics, according to MITRE policy executive director David Powner.
