Microsoft and DHS veteran Walden joins National Cyber Director office as principal deputy

The Office of the National Cyber Director is staffing up with three key hires that will shape the direction of the White House’s cybersecurity work, including Kemba Walden from Microsoft as principal deputy NCD.

Walden most recently worked at Microsoft as the assistant general counsel for the company’s Digital Crimes Unit and was responsible for launching DCU’s ransomware program.
