Justice Dept. issues proposed rule to protect sensitive U.S. data from foreign adversaries, with support from CISA

The Justice Department has issued a notice of proposed rulemaking to gather feedback on executing a February executive order to protect the exfiltration of sensitive bulk data of Americans from countries of concern, with support from the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency on proposed security requirements.
