Interagency committee pushes for baseline security as part of FCC authorization process for foreign-owned telecoms

A group of federal agencies known as “Team Telecom” is supportive of the FCC’s proposal to put in place baseline security measures for foreign-owned telecoms seeking an authorization to operate in the United States, while offering implementation suggestions to minimize business impacts and respond to industry concerns.
