Industry supports FedRAMP modernization under Biden cyber EO, with questions on implementation

Efforts to modernize the General Services Administration’s FedRAMP program will begin this month under a mandate in President Biden’s May 12 cyber executive order, which places an emphasis on moving agency systems to the cloud and has support from industry stakeholders who see potential for growth if the program is adequately resourced.
