Identity Theft Resource Center finds substantial increase in 2023 data breach compromises, while number of victims declines

The Identity Theft Resource Center highlights 2023 data breach trends in its annual report including a 78 percent increase in the number of compromises and 16 percent decrease in the victim count from 2022.
