IBM recommends tracking post-quantum cryptography transition needs through SBOM standard

IBM has developed capabilities to help federal agencies and private sector entities prepare for migrating to post-quantum cryptography, based on a widely-used standard for creating a Software Bill of Materials.

“There is a need to discover, manage and report cryptography as the first step on the migration journey to quantum safe systems and applications.
