House passes National Defense Authorization Act without FISMA amendment

The House has passed its version of the fiscal 2025 National Defense Authorization Act without an amendment filed by House Oversight Committee leaders that would revamp the Federal Information Security Management Act.

The amendment from Oversight cyber subcommittee Chairwoman Nancy Mace (R-SC) would make changes to FISMA for the first time since 2014.
