House panel advances fiscal 2024 CISA spending proposal with policy rider on ‘misinformation’

House appropriators are evaluating CISA’s rapid growth over the past few years as part of the fiscal 2024 budget process and approved a spending proposal on Thursday that would only provide a small portion of the agency’s funding request, along with a policy rider on “misinformation.”
