House Oversight Committee schedules FISMA modernization hearing

The House Oversight and Reform Committee will hold a hearing next week exploring reforms to the Federal Information Security Modernization Act, which dictates the government’s processes for securing federal networks and has gotten a major push for changes in the past year by key senators.

The hearing, “Cybersecurity for the New Frontier: Reforming the Federal Information Security Modernization Act,” is scheduled for Jan. 11.
