House Homeland Security Chair Garbarino highlights urgency of addressing CISA 2015, in update to cyber threats review

House Homeland Security Chairman Andrew Garbarino (R-NY) is pushing for Senate Democrats to end the government shutdown and restore information sharing protections that lapsed on Sept. 30, in a press release announcing an update to the committee’s cyber threat landscape review.

“Amid a heightened threat landscape, we must take a whole-of-society approach to countering escalating cyber threats from adversaries like the Chinese Communist Party, Iran, Russia, North Korea, and others,” Garbarino said in the Oct. 31 release.
