HITRUST updates its cyber framework to certify compliance with new EU privacy rules

The industry-based Health Information Trust Alliance has updated its cybersecurity framework to incorporate tough new European Union privacy requirements, as the group seeks accreditation for certifying compliance with the international regulations going into effect this spring.
