Health sector urges HHS to replace proposed rule for HIPAA cyber requirements with one-year consultation process

The Healthcare and Public Health Sector Coordinating Council is leading the charge on encouraging the Trump administration to suspend efforts to put cyber requirements into the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act Security Rule and launch a one-year consultation to reach a consensus on next steps.
