Governors association issues ‘primer’ on federal cyber regulations

The National Governors Association has issued a new guide to help state leaders navigate existing cybersecurity regulations at the federal level and avoid duplicative and conflicting rules.

The new “primer,” on federal cyber regulation, created in partnership with law firm Day Pitney, outlines regulation for nuclear power, the electric grid, water utilities, chemical facilities, pipelines, health information and medical devices, consumer protection, telecommunications, and finance, among other critical infrastructure entities.
