General Services Administration announces FedRAMP program changes designed to accelerate cloud adoption

The General Services Administration has launched a new initiative to accelerate the adoption of cloud services through its Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program using automation to speed the authorization process.

“Since the start of this Administration, we’ve focused on improving government operations to make them more efficient and effective for every employee and the American taxpayer. Our partnership with the commercial cloud industry needs serious improvement,” said GSA Acting Administrator Stephen Ehikian in a March 24 release.
