FTC seeks to hone data-protection enforcement efforts on eve of net-neutrality repeal

The Federal Trade Commission hosts an all-day workshop today to hear from consumer advocates, industry and academics as the commission moves to zero-in its enforcement actions on demonstrable harm from data breaches, among other questionable business practices, as opposed to theoretical risks.
