Former NSC official Greene: Cyber EO efforts, ransomware prep are ways to boost security long term

Major cyber attacks, including SolarWinds and Colonial Pipeline, have spurred efforts for closer collaboration between the public and private sectors, according to former National Security Council cyber leader Jeff Greene, who played a critical role in shaping the 2021 cyber executive order and the Biden administration’s efforts to address ransomware.
