Former NSC cyber official Neuberger sees opportunity for AI-driven ‘reboot’ to CISA efforts

The Trump administration’s effort to reshape the work of CISA offers a chance to utilize artificial intelligence to measure the cyber resilience of critical infrastructure, according to former Deputy National Security Advisor for Cyber Anne Neuberger.

“Our approach to national cyber defense could use a reboot driven by AI,” Neuberger said at a June 4 event, to address how there “wasn’t a way to really measure” critical infrastructure resilience to nation-state threats under the Biden administration.
