Federal Aviation Administration reauthorization establishes new cyber threat management responsibilities

The Federal Aviation Administration will take on new duties to address cyber threats as part of a reauthorization law signed by President Biden on May 16, including launching a rulemaking process on cyber risks to civil aircraft and standing up a new cyber threat management process for the national airspace system.
