Federal Aviation Administration proposes cyber requirements for unmanned aircraft systems through rulemaking

The Federal Aviation Administration has released a notice of proposed rulemaking for unmanned aircraft systems to require operators and service providers to create cybersecurity standards based on the NIST cybersecurity framework for risk assessments and to adopt secure by design principles.
