FCC unveils plan to repeal net-neutrality order, restore FTC oversight of consumer data

The Federal Communications Commission under the leadership of its new chairman, Ajit Pai, has released a regulatory proposal that would sweep away the landmark net-neutrality order adopted by the Obama administration. The move follows President Trump's action earlier this month that killed the data privacy and security rules for internet service providers issued last year under the order.
