FCC announces members for security advisory body to focus on 6G, artificial intelligence

The Federal Communications Commission has announced the members who will make up the latest iteration of its security advisory council, with a focus on preparing for secure sixth generation networks and using artificial intelligence to secure the nation’s communications infrastructure.

The ninth Communications Security, Reliability, and Interoperability Council will be co-chaired by CISA’s Billy Bob Brown and Todd Piett of Motorola. This is Brown’s second term as co-chair of CSRIC after leading CSRIC VIII with Nasrin Rezai of Verizon.
