Ex-FCC security chief Simpson sees potential for renewed focus on cyber under Rosenworcel

The focus areas of the FCC’s security advisory council under Chairwoman Jessica Rosenworcel could help lead the commission into a more active role in cybersecurity policy, according to former FCC security chief David Simpson, who says the regulatory agency had relinquished its position as a cyber leader over the past few years.
