Dragos report: Incident response plans are most effective at reducing financial risk in OT breaches

Organizations who implement incident response plans are less likely to suffer financial loss during an operational technology breach, according to a Dragos report supported by cyber insurance firm Marsh McLennan.

“An ICS incident response plan aims to detect, contain, and recover from cyber incidents without disrupting industrial operations or safety. The plan must be actionable, tested, and integrated across security, engineering, and operations teams to ensure a coordinated and effective response,” the August 12 report says.
