DHS to senators: We have adequate capabilities, resources to aid states on election cybersecurity

The Department of Homeland Security has the bandwidth to manage the current level of requests for assistance from states and localities on addressing cybersecurity of the electoral system, DHS officials told senators on Wednesday, while noting work continues on getting state and local officials approved for security clearances.
