Defense Dept. rule change, needed for CMMC program, enters next phase of review

The acquisition rule change needed to implement the Pentagon’s cyber certification program has cleared its interagency review through OMB with a significant change in how industry can provide input.

A DOD spokeswoman confirmed the change to Inside Cybersecurity while giving an update on what to expect in the coming months.
