Cyber assessment nonprofit finds Cisco zero trust offering vulnerable to advanced threats

There are significant shortcomings in the ability of a Cisco “Security Service Edge” product to enforce zero trust against advanced cyber threats, according to the latest research from the nonprofit CyberRatings.org.

“Palo Alto Networks Prisma achieved a Security Effectiveness score of 98.89%, successfully blocking 100% of evasions. In contrast, Cisco Umbrella scored 12.44%, primarily due to its failure to detect evasive threats,” CyberRatings says in a May 15 release.
