CMMC accreditation body outlines details on assessment process guide currently under DOD review

The upcoming CMMC assessment process guide includes details on the four phases of assessments, explains procedures and provides a “template inventory,” according to the accreditation body behind the Pentagon’s cyber certification program.

The document, known as the CAP, was developed by the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification Accreditation Body, and is currently under review at the Defense Department.
