CMMC accreditation body begins process to spin off certified courses, assessor trainings

The accreditation body behind the Pentagon’s cyber certification program is kicking off the next stage of development for its new ecosystem where companies will be able to obtain official assessments in order to compete for Pentagon contracts.

With the training for provisional assessors now complete, the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification Accreditation Body is working with companies to develop approved training materials and establishing the process for official exams for certified assessors.
