Cisco report finds private sector lagging in cyber maturity compared to emerging threats

Private sector entities around the world need to make cybersecurity a bigger priority to match the pace of increasingly sophisticated threats to their networks, according to an annual report from Cisco.

“The 2025 edition of this study shows that readiness remained flat from 2024,” Cisco says in its cyber readiness report published today.

Cisco says, “As threats continue to evolve and multiply, companies need to enhance their preparedness at an accelerated pace to remain ahead of malicious actors.”
