CISA publishes measurement strategy for federal post-quantum cryptography transition

The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency has released a strategy outlining its plans to measure federal agency implementation of post-quantum cryptography algorithms by promoting the use of automated cryptography discovery and inventory tools.

“The primary goal of this strategy is to enable the assessment of agency PQC transition progress,” CISA says in the Sept. 26 publication.
