CISA launches pilot program to provide alerts on ransomware vulnerabilities

A new ransomware pilot program from CISA is designed to alert organizations of common vulnerabilities and help with mitigations before ransomware is exploited.

The Ransomware Vulnerability Warning Pilot was launched on Jan. 30 and announced by the agency on Monday. The pilot program was required under the 2022 Cyber Incident Reporting for Critical Infrastructure Act.
