CISA issues revised performance goals aligned with NIST cybersecurity framework

The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency has updated its cross-sector cyber performance goals to align more closely with the five functions in the NIST cybersecurity framework.

“After CISA published the first CPG report in October 2022, the agency received feedback from multiple sectors asking for more streamlined mapping to the NIST CSF. In response, CISA has reorganized the CPGs to align to NIST CSF functions (Identify, Protect, Detect, Respond, and Recover),” the revised publication says.
