CISA, Coast Guard joint advisory reviews cyber risks found in proactive engagement with critical infrastructure provider

The Cybersecurity Infrastructure Security Agency has released a joint advisory with the U.S. Coast Guard detailing vulnerabilities found in a proactive hunt engagement, including insufficient network configuration between information technology and operational technology assets. 

“In coordination with the organization where the hunt was conducted, CISA and USCG are sharing cybersecurity risk findings and associated mitigations to assist other critical infrastructure organizations with improving their cybersecurity posture,” the July 31 joint advisory says.
