CISA to assume responsibility for .gov domain as part of effort to provide more support to state, local governments

The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency has announced plans to start working with the General Services Administration in April to take over management of the .gov top-level domain as part of a planned transition supported by a leading association of state CIOs.
