CISA and partners release ransomware advisory on LockBit detailing exploitation tools, mitigations

CISA, the FBI and international partners have published a joint advisory detailing the techniques, tactics and procedures used by LockBit, a ransomware-as-a-service offering that threat actors are using to target critical infrastructure.

“LockBit ransomware operation functions as a Ransomware-as-a-Service (RaaS) model where affiliates are recruited to conduct ransomware attacks using LockBit ransomware tools and infrastructure,” the joint advisory says.
