CISA and partners release guidance on integrating artificial intelligence for operational technology

The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency is proposing a set of principles for incorporating artificial intelligence into operational technology environments for critical infrastructure owners and operators, in a new joint guide with international partners and federal agencies.

“AI holds tremendous promise for enhancing the performance and resilience of operational technology environments – but that promise must be matched with vigilance,” CISA Acting Director Madhu Gottumukkala said in a Dec. 3 release.
