CISA advisory committee approves recommendations on information sharing, workforce challenges

The CISA Cybersecurity Advisory Committee on Wednesday approved its first series of recommendations, addressing how to improve engagements with the private sector and internal agency operations.

The recommendations reflect the work of six subcommittees and delve into growing the cyber workforce, vulnerability disclosure, cyber threat intelligence sharing, and misinformation and disinformation. The CSAC was established under the fiscal 2021 National Defense Authorization Act and the recommendations are the first set of formal proposals from the committee.
