Center for Internet Security updates security controls to address CSF 2.0 changes

The Center for Internet Security has released an update to its well-known critical security controls to add in considerations around governance from the major NIST cybersecurity framework update.

“Effective cybersecurity governance provides the structure needed to steer an enterprise’s cybersecurity program to support business goals,” Curtis Dukes, CIS executive vice president and general manager for security best practices, said in a Tuesday release.
