ABA review of IoT risks supports open-source security project principles

The American Bar Association's new book on the Internet of Things raises concerns about the lack of comprehensive regulatory and legal requirements for security as developers race forward with connected products and services for consumers and industrial operations, with the legal group recommending broader use of system-protection principles promoted through an open-web application project.
