Senate Commerce to vote Wednesday on FTC nominees

The Senate Commerce Committee will vote on four nominees to the Federal Trade Commission during an executive session on Wednesday.

The nominees, announced by the White House and sent to the Senate for consideration on Jan. 25, include Joseph Simons, who is nominated for the FTC chairman position currently held by Acting Chairman Maureen Ohlhausen. Simons currently works as a partner at Washington law firm Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton, and Garrison LLP.
