Pentagon, agencies publish interim rule on federal Kaspersky ban

The federal government today published an interim rule to implement a ban on Kaspersky products and services as required in last year's National Defense Authorization Act.

“Although this prohibition does not apply until October 1, 2018, agencies and contractors must begin to take steps immediately to meet this deadline,” according to today's Federal Register notice.
