Nuclear regulator to host cyber summit

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission will host a cybersecurity seminar and expo on Oct. 18 in Rockville, MD, the NRC announced Monday, focused on training NRC personnel to protect themselves online from cyber threats.

The event is part of NRC’s Helpful Applied Cyber Knowledge “HACK” initiative, according to NRC, and will feature government and industry speakers in addition to cybersecurity product exhibitions showcasing the latest cybersecurity technologies.
