NIST's Lefkovitz outlines timeline for publication of privacy framework ‘1.0’

The National Institute of Standards and Technology will issue “Version 1.0” of its new privacy framework “within a year” of kicking off the process in October 2018, with two public workshops -- starting with one in May -- planned prior to the final release next year, NIST’s Naomi Lefkovitz told Inside Cybersecurity on Monday.
