NIST to develop cybersecurity ‘use case’ for medical devices, seeks input

The National Institute of Standards and Technology on Monday announced that it is seeking organizations that will offer products and “technical expertise” to support development of “use cases” for cybersecurity in wireless medical infusion pumps.

NIST’s National Cybersecurity Center of Excellence will be selecting medical device products for its use-case development based on applications submitted by Feb. 24.
