Lawyers warn of impending compliance needs under new California data law

Privacy lawyers at Hogan Lovells are urging business leaders to begin developing strategies soon for complying with California's new consumer privacy law, even though the requirements don't kick in until January 2020, while noting the broad approach to defining personal information for increased protections.
