House passes defense authorization bill; Senate vote coming ‘soon’

The House has passed the finalized fiscal 2018 National Defense Authorization Act, which requires the president to develop a first-time national cyber strategy for deterring malicious actors and reforms the federal government’s process for acquiring new and more secure IT infrastructure.
